We’ve won the Commitment to Diversity award at this year’s IPE Conference & Awards 2020. The award is a new category in the ceremony’s 20-year history, and we’re enormously proud of to be the first recipient. We were also Highly Commended in the Fixed Income and European Pension Fund of the Year categories.
The judges commended us for our “good understanding of the role of diversity to create a strong culture and build inclusiveness in a multi-factor approach."
Our Chief Investment Officer, Barry Kenneth, and Chief People Officer, Katherine Easter, accepted the award virtually.
“Diversity and inclusion (D&I) are a critically important area for the PPF and for the industry as a whole,” said Barry. “We know this is the start of our journey but it’s an honour to receive this recognition.”
Katherine highlighted the efforts of everyone involved in the organisation.
“Thank you to the IPE judges for recognising the efforts of so many PPF people who make our strategy a reality,” she added.
Our focus areas
D&I is central to our culture and strategic plan. We recognise that a diverse workforce and inclusive culture improves our ability to identify risks and provide the best possible service to our members, levy payers and colleagues.
Our key focus areas in our D&I strategy are gender, ethnicity and disability. Our commitment is overseen by members of the Board, ExCo and senior managers.
