At the PPF, we protect your defined benefit pension
We protect 9.6 million people across the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes, sometimes known as final salary schemes. We pay compensation to members of eligible schemes if their employer becomes insolvent and can’t afford to pay its members their promised benefits.
We also run the Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) on behalf of the Government.
